If You Want To Be Born Again

I. Admit that you are a sinner before God.

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and Come short of the glory of God.

Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no. not one.

II. Confess your sins before God

1 John 8-9 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

III. Know and recognize that Jesus died for you

1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

IV. Repent with a godly sorrow

II Corinthians 7:10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of.

V. Believe with all of your heart

Acts 16:31 Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.

Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
